A reference question is a question that you cannot easily answer yourself and requires some outside assistance. Our staff will search our holdings for the answer and contact you with the information. Questions that require extensive research will have to be done by you, but our staff will be happy to guide you to the appropriate books, websites, or other resources.
When sending requests for reference assistance, please be as specific as possible and be sure to include your name and contact information.
Bella Abril, Jalpa Shah, Mary Kokot, Richard Lane, and Ashley Newsome are the Library's reference assistants. You may contact any of them by phone or email to ask a reference question. You may also call the Library's main phone line at 936-291-5472 and we will be happy to answer your question or direct you to the appropriate person.
